I’ve listened to Melissa’s music off-and-on since the early ‘90s, and she has always been an inspiring voice in my life. Her song from “An Inconvenient Truth,” “I Need To Wake Up,” is one of the most powerful love songs I have ever heard, and I smile every time I hear it.
Al Gore’s passion and integrity in the face of those who call global warming a “hoax” has been greatly inspiring to me. Seeing “An Inconvenient Truth” made me truly see how much trouble the Earth is in, and his compassion and humor bring the point across far better than a hellbent doomsayer ever could.
